Association of Veterinary Anaesthetists

Exchange 2-4, Manchester Central

The day is aimed at first opinion vets and nurses who want to improve their general anaesthesia knowledge as well as enhancing their clinical understanding of how to manage the peri-anaesthetic patient from all aspects. The day will also focus on other elements of anaesthesia such as how vets and nurses can maximise efficiency in their own working environment whilst maintaining patient safety and staff well-being.

The series of lectures and discussion will be delivered by a variety of speakers including vets and a nurse specialised in anaesthesia as well as an experienced first opinion vet who has been exposed to many working environments. The organiser and speakers’ welcome specific anaesthesia queries and questions in advance or during the meeting, in which time will be allotted on the day to answer these.

If you have any questions or queries regarding the meeting, then please contact Daisy Norgate
