
The Register of Animal Musculoskeletal Practitioners (RAMP) is a voluntary regulatory body for practitioners in the allied professions of Chiropractic, Osteopathy and Physiotherapy that evidence equivalent educational and professional standards as their peers in the statutory regulated human healthcare industry.
RAMP maintain a competent register of animal Chiropractors, Osteopaths and Physiotherapists which is published on our website. Every registrant has achieved minimum of BSc (RQF Level 6) education in their chosen profession, holds professional indemnity insurance cover and agrees to abide by RAMP professional standards. There is an annual renewal process requiring formal CPD and insurance renewal.
RAMP do the due diligence so Vets can be sure that whatever the client preference the registrant will be fully trained to practice Chiropractic, Osteopathy or Physiotherapy. In the event a registrant does not work to the gold standard expected, vets and the public are encourage to complain to RAMP, who will carry out a full investigation and take appropriate action which may ultimately be removal from the register.
