MEAVC 2023 launches 4 Satellite Events for 2023!

What is a Satellite event?
Educational Road Shows providing vets the opportunity to be trained by renowned specialists, discuss with them topics, increase their knowledge and experience, without having to travel out of their country!

Meeting unique instructors, getting tips regarding various fields and applications, improving your diagnostic steps, processes and techniques are our main focus for 2023.

MEAVC 2023 is set to be a high profile, leading international veterinary educational event, across the MENA region. The Satellite events for 2023 are designed to take place in 4 different countries: UAE, KSA, Egypt and Morocco from March to June 2023, with 2 disciplines: Cardiology and Anesthesiology.

The Satellite events are workshops with a theoretical and practical part, highly interactive and engaging. The duration will be from 9.30am to 18.30 pm each day. Attendance of the theoretical part can host up to 150 participants, attendance to the practical part will be restricted to 20 participants.

MEAVC 2023 JOURNAL CLUB
A journal club is a regular gathering of scientists to discuss a scientific paper found in a research journal. One or two members of the club present a summary of the chosen paper that the whole group has read. It is a hallmark part of education in medical training programs.
Journal club is an educational meeting that provides a forum for developing skills in critical appraisal, an essential part of being a competent clinician.

WHY JOIN A JOURNAL CLUB?
To highlight current research findings.

To encourage practitioners to read and appraise publications critically and give them the ability to do so.
To be a part of a diverse international scientific community.
To improve debating skills, demonstrate leadership skills, and aid peer mentorship.

One or two Tuesdays each month at 1pm (UAE time)
MEAVC members - FOR FREE
Non MEAVC members - 50 USD
Duration: 1 hour with live Q&As
Run by University Professors, European and American Board - Certified Diplomates
Online through Click Meeting platform

The MEAVC 2023 Journal Club is CPD Accredited by the European Association of Establishments for Veterinary Education VetCEE (Veterinary Continuing Education Europe) and the American Association of Veterinary State Boards RACE (Registry of Approved Continuing Education)
To receive 1 credit or ECTS (24 hours global time) it is compulsory to attend 12 out of the 16 Live Journal Clubs.
A certification of attendance will be provided for each attendee after each session.
