The Clinical Abstracts Sessions provide an opportunity for the wider veterinary community to present current research and other information of significance to veterinary practice.

Submissions for 2022 are now closed - submissions will now be reviewed and successful applicants will be contacted in due course


The Clinical Abstract can be on any veterinary subject, such as announcing the preliminary results of a new study, describing interesting cases or discussing new techniques.

Oral and Poster submissions accepted

Discounted registration fees for presenters


Applications are welcome from:

Veterinary surgeons

Veterinary nurses

Practice managers

Veterinary students & student veterinary nurses

Other researchers with research of direct relevance to veterinary practice

Allow plenty of time to review both documents understand the submission rules and process, paying particular attention to the ethical guidelines.


Prepare a 250 word abstract using the following separate headings:





When ready, click Submit Abstract and upload your submission to our designated portal


Each abstract will be peer reviewed by a panel of experts. The assessment process is blind and the abstracts are to be anonymised on submission.

Authors of the selected clinical abstracts will be notified early 2022.


Successful submissions will be presented "virtually" or "face to face" in either an oral or poster presentation format.
