Accreditation for the BSAVA Virtual Congress programme

There are over 130 hours of CPD across the live and on demand programme*.

We are pleased to inform delegates the programme has been submitted and is approved in the UK and the following International organisations for CPD accreditation.

CPD Certificates | For UK delegates this is a self-certified event & delegates will be sent an email with a link to download the CPD certificate template by the 30 April - to complete themselves.

International accrediting bodies, please see the information in the relevant panel below for further details and limitations.

For non-UK delegates (not covered by the accrediting bodies mentioned below) a self-certified CPD certificate template will be emailed to you by 30 April.

RACE

The live programme has been approved for 84 hours of continuing education credit in jurisdictions that recognise RACE approval.

Conditions | An individual attendee can claim up to 25 hours. Accreditation is valid for the live content during the event and for 2 months after when it is available on the congress platform to review. This applies to both veterinarians and veterinary technicians.

Certificates | There is no requirement for a CPD certificate, however we will email a certificate of attendance to USA attendees for your own records. We are currently processing RACE accreditation and USA attendees should receive an email from us regarding this.

Ireland

Accreditation is approved by the Veterinary Council of Ireland for the live content - content within the on-demand stream, exhibitor stream or hosted by our affiliate groups are excluded.

Conditions | A maximum of 25 CVE Credits can be awarded per person over the three days.

Accreditation is valid for both Vets and Vet Nurses, for the live event days only (25 - 27 March 2021).

Certificates | The CPD is not self-certifying & we will send Irish attendees an appropriate certificate via email. We are currently processing these to be received by 30 April.

New Zealand

Accreditation has been approved by the New Zealand Veterinary Association for all live and on-demand content from the clinical programme - content within the exhibitor stream or hosted by our affiliate groups are excluded.

Conditions | Accreditation is valid for the duration of the live event and for the 60-days continued access to content via the event platform.

Certificates | The CPD is self-certifying and delegates will receive the CPD certificate template to complete themselves. Attendees from New Zealand will receive the certificate via email by 30 April.

Switzerland

This programme has been accredited by The Society of Swiss Veterinarians (GST) for Vets for a total of 6 SVK-BP.

Conditions | This is valid for the live and on-demand content for the 2 month duration of the platform.

Certificates | The CPD is self-certifying and delegates will receive the CPD certificate template to complete themselves. Swiss attendees should have now received these.
