Tom graduated from the Royal Veterinary College (RVC) and, after spending some time in general practice and an internship at the RVC, he completed his specialist training in Neurology and Neurosurgery in 2016. Tom has a PhD in pharmacology from Cambridge University and, prior to completing his veterinary training, worked in the pharmaceutical industry for many years. He initially worked for GlaxoSmithKline and subsequently for the European Medicines Agency (EMEA). Tom spent two years as a Lecturer in Neurology and Neurosurgery at the Royal Veterinary College before joining Cave Veterinary Specialist. He is interested in all areas of neurology, but has a particular focus on epilepsy and the use of 3D printed models in complex neurosurgeries.
