Success for BSAVA Congress Clinical Abstracts programme

The BSAVA’s Congress Clinical Abstracts programme, held last month, achieved the largest audience for clinical abstracts in Congress’ history, with presenters participating from Finland to Indiana.

New President for BSAVA

Professor Ian Ramsey BVSc, PhD, DSAM, DipECVIM-CA FHEA, FRCVS has been appointed President of the British Small Animal Veterinary Association (BSAVA) for 2020/2021. He took over the role from Sue Paterson on 21st May 2020.

BSAVA introduces Congress on Demand

Emeritus Professor Edward Hall has been announced as the winner of the prestigious Bourgelat Award. The award is presented by the BSAVA as the primary recognition for really outstanding international contributions to the field of small animal practice. A celebration of science, education & innovation

For the first time at BSAVA Congress a dog was brought into the exhibition hall for a demonstration, giving delegates a unique, hands-on experience with a live animal. Stephen Constable gave a practical overview of ultrasound followed by an in-depth demonstration of kidney imaging, intestinal imaging and cardiac measurements on the very obliging greyhound, Judy.
