At the heart of the small animal community
The British Small Animal Veterinary Association (BSAVA) was founded over 60 years ago to facilitate the sharing of knowledge amongst members of the small animal profession.
Since then, the veterinary landscape has changed significantly. The BSAVA has responded to the changing needs in the small animal profession by releasing a new three-year strategic plan for 2021-2023. The plan has a strong emphasis on mental wellbeing, and a focus on building the BSAVA community.
BSAVA’s commitment to being volunteer-led means the focus has always been providing practical solutions that make a difference in daily practice. Through membership and engagement with the wider small animal professions, BSAVA aim to grow their communities whilst continuing to develop and improve on what they deliver.
